New Year's Eve Gala 2010!

Experience an exciting Gala evening with traditional sounds of the waltz-king Johann Strauss and greet the first minutes of the New Year with a glass of sparkling champagne with a wonderful view of the old city of Vienna. All this and more is the promise of the 2010 New Years Gala in the beautifully noble rooms of the Vienna City Hall.
Viennese performers and a renowned ball orchestra guarantee an unforgettable evening with dancing and singing to the most beautiful melodies of the Viennese Operettas. All this assures the opportunity to dance until the early morning. An exquisite Gala Buffet, a welcome cocktail and a glass of champagne at midnight…


Artistic Program:

7pm
Entrance to the impressive ballroom of the Viennese City Hall with a musical greeting from the Viennese Ball Orchestra. Enjoy a welcome cocktail served to you at your table.

8pm
The appetizer assortment will be served and then the exquisite Gala Buffet with tempting delicacies and desert specialties will be opened.

9:45pm
Ceremonial opening of the Ball by the Girls and Boys Youth Committee, a renowned Viennese dance school; Then, this also means for the guests, “Everyone Waltz!” Alternating with the Ball Orchestra, a Dance Band will amaze our guests with exciting rhythms until well after midnight.

11:30pm
The high point of the ball is the performance of the most beloved operetta melodies, brought to life by international soloists.

12:00am (Midnight)
On the balcony of the City Hall everyone will toast to the New Year with a glass of champagne, while watching the fireworks and listening to the Danube Waltz.
